Several SV employees are stepping into administrative positions
SV administrators embrace new roles
The Seneca Valley School District is excited to announce that several long-established employees of the SV family are stepping into key administrative roles. Their dedication, hard work, and commitment to excellence have been truly impactful, and we look forward to seeing them thrive in their new positions.
New Roles
• Dr. Taisia Papariella, previously the Acting Assistant Principal of Connoquenessing Valley Elementary (CVE) School, is now serving as the Assistant Principal of CVE
• Ms. Chelsea Miller, previously a second-grade teacher at CVE, is now serving as the Acting Assistant Principal of Haine Elementary/Middle School (HES & HMS)
• Ms. Skylar Meier, previously a Health and Physical Education teacher at RGMS, is now serving as the Acting Assistant Principal of RGMS
Additionally, Dr. Tony Babusci, a Ryan Gloyer Middle School (RGMS) administrator, is now supervising a recently developed district-wide Alternative Education Program, along with serving as Co-Principal of RGMS. The Alternative Education Program is an additional resource the district is providing for students who face challenges in the larger school setting. Programming includes courses taken through the Seneca Valley Academy of Choice (SVAOC) as well as in-person offerings including Health and Wellness, Social Awareness and Personalized Pathways (a project based learning course).
Ms. Trisha Butschle, previously RGMS Assistant Principal, is now serving as Co-Principal of RGMS alongside Dr. Babusci.
“Our teachers and staff members have shown exceptional dedication and commitment,” said Superintendent Dr. Tracy Vitale. “We are confident that Dr. Papariella, Ms. Miller, Ms. Meier, Dr. Babusci and Ms. Butschle will excel in their new roles and continue to contribute to the success of our District.”
Additional hires will be taking place in the coming months to hire assistant principals for RGMS, Ehrman Crest Middle School and the SVAOC.
Please join us in congratulating them and offering your full support as they transition into their new positions.
