Does my child have to take a language at RGMS?
Seneca Valley prioritizes the skills, exposure and growth that world language classes provide and, therefore, makes language an opportunity available for all students in 7th and 8th grades. While not a requirement for graduation, most colleges require language study prior to admittance due to the many academic benefits of taking a world language. At Seneca Valley, students have the opportunity to begin to take a level one of a language starting in 7th grade and can move on to level two in 8th grade. Students may choose from French, Latin, German and Spanish.
