Meet the Falcon Teachers

πŸ—ΊοΈ Mr. Bell πŸ—ΊοΈ

  • This is my 26th year teaching at Seneca Valley.
  • I love teaching American History because it's storytelling, and I love telling and listening to stories, especially ones that tell the stories that gave us all the title of Americans!
  • I am married to my wife Karen, and we have two daughters, Brooke and Adalyn. We live in Robinson in the Montour District.
  • I love summer because of the weather and fall because it's football season!
  • My favorite treat at the end of a long school day would have to be...OREOS!!!

πŸ”’ Mrs. Belt πŸ”’

  • I have been teaching 22 years!
  • I still look forward to teaching daily math concepts and seeing the growth my students have at the end of the year. It takes hard work and grit, but they can do it!
  • I live in Callery with my husband, Mike, our two sons, Parker and Ryder, our crazy dogs, Sofie and Baily, and our cat, Bandit.
  • My favorite season is summer when I am outdoors hiking and biking, playing hockey, ice skating, watching sports, or just sitting back and relaxing with my family.
  • To reward myself after a long day, you will find me indulging in chocolate or ice cream!

❀️‍🩹 Mrs. Durst ❀️‍🩹

  • I have been a counselor for 18 years.
  • I love helping children! Please don't hesitate to reach out if you need anything at all this year!
  • I live in Harmony with my husband and our four teenagers.
  • I love the spring where you can find me coaching varsity pole vaulting! When I am not coaching, I love traveling with my family and attending our kids' sporting events!
  • My favorite after school treat is Reese's Peanut Butter Cups!

🩻 Mr. Flood 🩻

  • I have been teaching 30 years total (29 years at the middle school).
  • I love teaching all aspects of health and trying to get students to understand the importance of taking care of their bodies. You only get one body. We need to take care of it!
  • I have been married for 26 years with 2 children and our white 10-year-old lab, Kenzie.
  • I love the cooler temperatures of fall - the smell in the air, cool mornings, and wearing a hoodie and shorts!
  • My favorite treat at the end of a school day is getting to go home!

πŸ“š Ms. Lambert πŸ“š

  • I have been teaching for 4 years.
  • I love building relationships and seeing the growth my students make each year, not only academically, but socially and emotionally!
  • I have an older sister who also works in the district and a little brother in middle school!
  • My favorite season is summer.
  • I love any sour or gummy candy!

πŸ“ Ms. Strieby πŸ“

  • This is my 9th year teaching.
  • My favorite thing about teaching English is sharing stories with one another. Getting to read and write and learn to express ourselves is what brings us all together!
  • My fiancé and I have two goofy cats, Thomasin and Callie!
  • My favorite season is winter.
  • My favorite treat at the end of a long school day is a really good cookie!

πŸ”¬ Mr. Sutkowski πŸ”¬

  • I have been teaching 27 years.
  • I like teaching science because everything is black and white - NO gray areas!
  • I have 3 daughters and 14 grandkids. I have no pets, but I have 12 grandpets!
  • I love summer. The warmer the better. It can never be too hot.
  • My favorite treat is an Almond Joy bar (without sharing it).

πŸ“™ Mrs. Vagias πŸ“™

  • I have been teaching 20 years!
  • I love chatting with students about books and sharing recommendations, but the best part is seeing a reluctant reader light up when they finally find a book they can connect with.
  • My husband and I have 3 daughters (ages 13, 11, 8), 2 dogs (a German Shepherd & a Bernese Mountain Dog/Border Collie Mix)
  • My favorite season is summer when my family is together at Conneaut Lake.
  • Chocolate and peanut butter treats are my weakness!
