Welcome to the Cougar Team!2025-2026  October 23- End of First Nine Weeks January 15- End of Second Nine Weeks March 24- End of Third Nine Weeks June 4- End of Fourth Nine Weeks School Supplies: 2 folders, 1 composition notebook, 1 regular notebook, colored highlighters, 2 (1 inch) 3-ring binders, pencils, colored pencils, glue stick, mini pencil sharpener, headphones to plug into your laptop, Calculator (T130 XIIS) Please use your locker periodically throughout the day. No backpacks should be in the Cougar classrooms... including 8th period.
Students have time during FLEX to see teachers for missing work and to complete undone assignments. They are expected to reach out to teachers after being absent.
Laptop and Cell Phone Guidelines:
1. Laptop devices should be closed for hallway transport and not opened in the classrooms until instructed to do so by a classroom teacher. Be sure to fully charge your device each night. Personal headphones are needed for in-class computer use. 2. Cell phones are to remain in backpacks or lockers unless instructed to use by a classroom teacher. Misuse will result in the phone being turned in at the front office. No music devices, earbuds, or headphones are permitted in the hallways. Food and Drink Guidelines:1. Students are permitted to carry water bottles during the day. No cans, bottles, open containers, and/or straw-lid drinks are allowed. 2. Students are permitted to have a school-approved snack during FLEX time only. 3. Breakfast is served in the school cafeteria daily. SV PortalStudents are expected to log into SV Portal daily. RGMS teachers use the portal to post announcements, team activities, assignments, and grades.
