The 2026-27 student schedules are tentatively scheduled for release on August 7.
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate requests for team or teacher changes due to the high number of students, class availability and our placement procedure.
Please contact your child’s school counselor if you have further concerns regarding a schedule. The names, teams and emails of the counselors, is located on the right-hand side of this webpage. Counselors will be in the office sporadically during the summer and will return correspondence in the order it is received.

Please join us during our Open Visitation / Meet the Teachers event on Tuesday, August 18 from 3-6pm. Students will be allowed to walk their schedule and familiarize themselves with the building. Please watch for an email from the administration with additional information.

Schedule Changes or Non-Emergency Situations - Students are encouraged to message their counselor on TEAMS or send an email.
Emergency Situations – Please see Mrs. Poleti, the guidance assistant, if your counselor is not immediately available.
Please note that requests are handled in the order in which they are received, but priorities may shift based upon need.
Services Provided:
We are happy to support the students and families of Ryan Gloyer Middle School. We provide academic, social/emotional, and career services to our students as outlined in the 3 domains of the American School Counselor Association. It is our goal to enhance the learning experience of all Ryan Gloyer Middle School students.
Schedule Change Request
Student schedules will be posted on the Student Portal in mid-August 2025. Students are strongly encouraged to follow their schedules for the first few days of school before deciding to change a course. If there is still a need to make an adjustment, students must complete a Schedule Change Request Form with parent/guardian signature. Please visit the RGMS Guidance office for the form.
First semester change requests will not be accepted after 3:00 pm on Thursday, August 28, 2025. Second semester schedule change requests will not be accepted after 3:00 pm on Monday, January 26, 2025.
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate any requests for teacher or team changes. This is due to the complicated nature of our master schedule, as well as the importance of balancing the number of students on each team and in each class.
