Glade Run Lutheran Services and Care Solace:
What is School Based Mental Health (SBMH)?
- Seneca Valley School District partners with Glade Run Lutheran Services to provide therapy to students. Glade Run’s SBMH program is mental health services for school age youth that addresses social, emotional, and behavioral health along with the ability to cope with life’s challenges.
- Services are delivered in the school setting during the school day and, if needed, can continue during the summer months.
- SBMH services are provided by licensed and unlicensed Master’s level therapists through Glade Run Lutheran Services.
- Glade Run operates two school-based outpatient program models: Mental Health Partnership (MHP) and Therapeutic Classroom. The school-based therapists conduct initial psycho-social assessments and then provide individual, family, and group therapy.

What is Care Solace?
- Families can use Care Solace to quickly connect to verified mental health and substance use treatment providers in our community.
- School counseling staff and administration can complete a referral to begin the process or you yourself can search for support at caresolace.com/Seneca.
- We can connect you directly to their support, you can call them at 888-515-0595, or search anonymously at www.caresolace.com/seneca.
- Once registered, your Care Companion team is available 24/7/365 and can support you in any language.
- Your Care Companion will make phone calls on your behalf to find and book appointments with providers who are matched to your needs.
- Care Solace has access to thousands of providers or programs that work with all insurances, Medicaid, or offer sliding scale or private payment options.
Once a referral is made, you will need to:
- Note what time works best to get in touch. A Care Companion will typically call within 20 minutes unless another time is specified.
- Look for calls from 888-515-0595
- The first contact with Care Solace will be a phone call from them. After that, they can text, call, or email to share options and updates.
- Expect regular communication until you have been able to resolve your need.
